Mosrite Mark I candy apple red 1966 (past)
Mosrite ventures II Red 1965 German Carve (past)
and now I just perchased a Mosrite Ventures II Blue Slab body( Present)
So im just getting back into them again myself.

Welcome to the forum! You did good buying that guitar. The seller is a well respected friend and member on this forum. He knows his business and only deals with high end collectible guitars.

Before I bought it, a friend of mine had clued me in that he was one of the good ones...
I really can't wait to get my hands on it.

Forbidden Island is a tiki bar here in Alameda. It's very authentic to the 50-60s faux-polynesian feel of the originals, and the drinks are excellent. I can attest to Mosrites and Gruggetts having been seen there as I've played both there with my band.
It's definitely worth a visit.
