Lookin' great Ludobag! I wish I had your woodworking/metalworking skills! I just bought a left handed Mosrite style body on ebay, and also a tortoise shell pickguard for it, plan on making a right-handed model out of it for a different look, like the Hendrix reverse Strat. Should be interesting when it's finished!

with basswood it is necessary cause even if you just llok it there is already a ding too soft wood
and reworks of the heel

candy apple red with gold or ou silver base cause i have red tint to put in my varnish
