Hello, I ran into cmiller0034 at GC yesterday and he told me about this place.
I have been a fan of Mosrite guitars for as long as I can remember, my Dad's favorite songs were Walk Don't Run and Bill Dogget's Honky Tonk... Those two songs are why I play guitar today. As a kid in the early 70's I would obsess over the guitars on the cover of the Ventures album.
I also have a Mosrite inspired guitar build in the works. It is my design but is loosely based off the Mark II. I'm going to be going for a surf/punk/industrial feel with the guitar... tentatively called the MOStRITEous... I'll post it in the builds forum.
Another Mosrite fan here...

Welcome to the forum !!
Your Dad has good taste in music, I've been playing Honky Tonk since 1956 (maybe some day I'll get it right).
My kids know I want it played at my funeral ! I even use it as a ringtone on my phone...
Good luck with your build.

You just brought a tear to my eye... when my Dad passed away 6 years I used those songs, plus Raunchy, Blueberry Hill and A Fool Such as I, in the Memorial video I put together for his Memorial Service.
dunno if it will play for you from the facebooks...

You brought a tear to my eye too, that was a very touching tribute, you were lucky to have had such a great Dad.
Thanks for sharing...

Welcome.
Quite a legacy your father left you; treasure it. Honour him when you play.
