Just received box of my dad's belongings and in it found the original article from above photo clippings. It is quite lengthy and not sure yet how to best post it so that it is readable, so let me figure that out. Meanwhile, I realize now that I have the other photos that the top photo of Bill Gruggett and Semie Moseley is at my dad, Bill Gruggett's wedding when I was about 7 to his 2nd wife, Denise. Semie was his best man. Not sure who the men on the far left and far right are. Does anyone know who they are? They are not relatives unless they were his wife's relatives, or maybe they are other guys that worked at the Mosrite factory at the time. Photo was best I could get since it is a photo of a small photo

Here are a few pages that if you read one post after the other it is a large article about the Semie and the Mosrite FActory, this was written in The Bakersfield Californian October 2,1965 and included all the photos found on page one of this topic post . The article is entitled,
Mosrite Brand: Rags to Riches
and the other heading over the photos read
Guitar Marker Strums $Million Tune

Kathy, thanx for the info!

THAT was mind blowing! Semie and Andy's Dad was also helping out in the factory?!?!?
And for those who are not aware of the 'large mail order firm' that offered a million dollars
to Semie for the rights to the Mosrite brand name, well, it was...Sears Roebuck...go figure.. .
make the Mos' of it, choose the 'rite stuff.

Glad you are enjoying the article and posts. I did not know about Sears being their big offer, but I do remember being inside the factory with my dad, although I was very young and some stories I've been told over the years.
