So, the general consensus is vintage Fender frets?

Not something exotic like mandolin or banjo frets? Does anyone know what size frets came in a '64-'65 Ventures?

Yes vintage style Fender frets would do nicely.

Hopefully I'll have this plugged into a nice MINT(!) 1964 Vox AC 10 Twin within a week or so. Should sound nice.
