Hey Guys,
i don't know if you guys remember this or not, but back in the early 2000's i think it was in 2001, there was supposedly the last of semie's last builds sold. I believe there were roughly 40 guitars sold, all of them went up for auction on ebay sold by Loretta. Does anyone on here remember that???
I have pictures some where of a lot of these guitars, and i really gotta find them again and post them up here.

I'm not sure if this is the same thing, but there was a cache of 35 or so Mosrites from 1987 that showed up on eBay in 2000/2001. The story is that Semie had used them as collateral on a loan and they'd been sitting in a warehouse ever since. There's a bit of info on the eastwood guitar website:

I been dying myself to find these pictures as well. From what I remember all of these were ventures one/mark one models, all with modern appointments. I remember thinking these were probably some of the best mosrites ever made, since it had the semie's experience behind the construction. My memory is a little fuzzy, but I believe these were all after the 88 models.
If anyone has any pictures, man I'd like to see them.

Yes it was that bunch of 1987 mosrite Ventures models. I remember them very well, infact I even bought a G&G Case from those guys. I also played one of those guitars. It was at a jam session in NJ. I do have pics from that session, but I don't remember how good the pics of that guitar were. I will see what I can come up with. I remember the neck being a bit sharp around the edges. Nothing like the M88, and V88 series, though it was a very nice sunburst! It was a looker for sure. Sounded good too!
I do however have a bunch of pictures of the bunch of V88, and M88 guitars that hit the bay a few years ago! Just say the word and I will post them up!
