MOSRITE CELEBRITY FROM THE MOSELEY FAMILY

Postby EF@MosriteRecords » Sun Mar 14, 2010 7:49 pm

While I am not a Celebrity Fan, I bought this Celebrity from Andy in 2008. To feel this neck
is to know what Small and Fast and Speed frets and neck's are all about. The Radius is something else. It takes a little getting use to. Anyway Sarah might like to see it. Guitar is old stock not numbered. Date not known. I love the Red. :P

Luv :D

Very nice Elaine! I know I'm the oddball that just love these Celebrities. Everything about the necks on these guitars suits me. We had band rehearsal last night and I brought out my Celebrity. It was the first time the others had seen it and they were very intrigued. The other guitar player and bass player could not get over the "speed frets".

That red one is a beauty. You might note the difference from this "early stock" guitar. It has the larger F holes, pickup selector switch on the treble side horn, no control plate, slight point on the lower left side of the pickguard, symmetrical headstock shape, and the chrome bracket holding the pickguard. These little chrome brackets disappeared around guitar #600 in the A series. In fact, the A series of serial numbers are the only ones I've seen with the chrome bracket.

Thanks for posting the pictures Elaine!! :D
