Hello I fell in love with the Ventures Model Mosrite back in 1965 when I bought their On Stage LP. Three years later my guitar teacher had a Celebrity model come into his shop, which he held for me. Three more years later and a move to Alberta I finally got a hold of
a Ventures model Mosrite [reworked] which was my sole love. In 2002 I suffered a stroke and could no longer play. Eventually I sold my Mosrite and 1 year later regretted that decision. Four years ago I started to play again - It's been a slow process.. I bought the Wilson brothers VM 110. 4 Months later I ran into Nokie Edwards at his nephews music shop in Puyallup Wash. and put money down to buy his Hitchhiker Guitar. After a year and a half he sent me his personal guitar. Both have their pros and cons, but neither stacks up to my old candy red Mosrite.

Wonderful story Speed Fret! Many of us here have regret stories too, so join the club. Good thing you're back again learning to play, which in itself is a good therapy too, I would think. Welcome to the forum and enjoy

Welcome to the forum.
Sorry about all the hassle getting registered but I think you'll enjoy it here. Don't forget to participate in the demographic survey at the top of the Introduction forum main page. It helps us keep track of what guitar to ask Santa Claus for Christmas. Kids want Ramones model, old pharts want The Ventures model.

Welcome to the forum, Speed Fret. My, You picked a fantastic screen name.
Hopefully you'll find another Celebrity sometime soon, I'd say eBay is your friend in this case but Craigslist could also come in handy. When searching Craigslist I always use Craiglook, It makes it so much easier.
