Hello from the UK o/

Postby Snakebloke » Mon Feb 14, 2011 3:59 pm

hey there,

Basically im 24, from middleengland (literally) and I don't own a mosrite....

I've been playing guitar for around 1 year so far and I love all sorts of music from Jack Johnson to Guns n Roses. I am learning japanese and hope to mvoe to Japan in the near future. For the moment however, I am stuck in the UK :(

I own a Japanese 62 reissue Telecaster however, i saw a Mosrite style guitar on the music video of a japanese band and I am here to find out what it is. :)

I hope you are all so kind as to help me with it :)

That's what I was thinking. I think I might have trouble finding one though, especially with the trem' already built in.

Welcome! And +1 on Kevin's comments - looks like a Univox. I dunno about the UK eBay, but we get plenty of them (with trems) on eBay here. Might check out some of the other affordable options on this forum, also.

Welcome. When you get to Japan, you'll find lots of Mosrites there to choose from...they're especially popular with the Japanese :)

Thanks for the responses. I will check out the options but to be honest I want one with the trem already in so if there is a univox one on ebay ill be going for that.

Welcome to the forum. If that's an actual Hi Flyer, it's one that started life without a vibrato, as that's a Fender floating tremolo on there. The Univox vibrato has more angular front corners.
