Is this mosrite a special one
so my aunt has a red and white original mosrite it is dated about 1966 maybe,It was given to her in 1968 by a guy named Red Simpson,he had said that it was a specialy made one for the ventures and the American music company had told us that there is a picture of this guitar with the ventures and with president Nixon, not sure if its true for we havent been able to verifie it. the model # i believe is either B247 or 13247 cant quite tell if its a B or a 13 in the begining of the number,it also has the number 77 on it. we know that it is an original mosrite just not to sure what the story is behind it. Any info that anyone can give me would be very helpful, thank you

Welcome to the forum. If you can post pictures of the guitar, we'll be much more likely to be able to help.

Hi, let's assume that's a 'B' in the serial number. 1966 wasn't a bad year for Ventures II models, but the guitar is unlikely to be too special. Not to say that a great story doesn't up the sentimental value.
My guess is that it looks like this (colors notwithstanding):

If it happens to look like guitars in the image below, it'll be significant for other reasons.
