1962 Mosrite Bass Guitar Recording Model
This guitar is one of four made as far as I know. I obviously have one of them, another is in Canada. My dad, Jelly Sanders, worked in Bakersfield with Simmie when this guitar was build at the Mosrite Shop on P Street. I am looking for any information regardimg the whereabouts of the other two bass guitars. You may contact me via this forum or at Jimmy Sanders on facebook. I have had the pleasure of playing this bass for forty years and it is one of a kind.

Hey Jim,
Glad to see you got on the forum. I'll go ahead a grab the photo's of your bass off Facebook until you learn to navigate this Mosrite forum.
For the gang here, Jim and I went to grade school together and started learning to play about the same time. His dad Jelly, would teach him new things on the guitar then Jim would get with me and show me what he had learned. It was a hard way to learn but we didn't have YouTube back then.
We finally got a little trio going and his dad pulled some strings and got us a spot on the local TV station to play a few songs. Last time I heard from Jim was around 1960. We just hooked up again today on Facebook after all those years.
Here's Jim's bass.
