Hello ladies 'n' gents. I am registering to this forum to get tips and tricks for pedals I have ''just'' inherited. Just is in quotation marks because my father has passed a long time ago however, I have just discovered these pedals that he left behind. I was searching for pedals to go along side my ''new'' amp so started shopping for fuzz pedals. While shopping I saw an eBay ad that said, Vintage FUZZrite Mosrite pedal. I immediately knew I had seen that pedal before so I started rummaging through my dad's things. Sure enough not only did he leave me one but two FUZZrite pedals. Opened them up to get some info and they seem to be from 1968 and have TZ-82's in them.
As for me well I am a guitar player for about 18yrs now. Heavily into blues but grew up with rock, metal and jazz. I would love to incorporate the FUZZrite into my pedalboard but need some advice so I am now here.

Kris, welcome to the forum. That is a wonderful story; are you sure you didn't find a Mosrite guitar to go with the pedals?!

Re: Newly Inherited Member From Monteal, Canada
Thanks for the greetings and unfortunately no I did not find any vintage guitars. I did get a B3 organ and a Selmer sax though
As you probably guessed already, I would never sell anything that my father owned. Really hope to find some tips on taming this beast of a pedal so I can use it in my board. Glad to know I'm in the right place.
Cheers!

Welcome Kris! I am searching for a Fuzzrite (clone) myself, something as close as possible but cheaper! There is some good reviews I've found in the forum that seem to lead me to an Ashbass Fuzzbrite so we'll see.
Others please feel free to chime in on a nice Fuzz box!

Re: Newly Inherited Member From Monteal, Canada
Are there any videos on here of people playing their FUZZrite pedals? The pedals I have seems extremely harsh and I want to see if it's normal.
Thanks
Kris
Thanks
