Hello from northwest indiana

I live in northwest indiana, 32 miles out of chicago. I'm 48 and been playing bass since 1979. My dad was a ventures enthusiast and a guitar player. I grew up with all the songs implanted in my memory.. When I first saw a picture of a mosrite on a album, it became my dream to have one. When i started playing i dug out my dads play along with the ventures album and learned diamon head. Well many years have passed and I can finally afford one! I aquired a excellent condition 72 mosrite bass, serial b 0264. It plays and sounds great... Note this is the first mosrite i've ever seen in person. I could'nt be happier!
