NGD well almost

Postby redmoe » Mon Aug 26, 2013 7:24 pm

Just won a near mint Fillmore Mark II for $950 shipped on the Bay. Pretty excited about it should go nice with my Black Mark II. Should be here this week:

It comes with the Fillmore paper work. What would indicate that it is not a fillmore? Also has a made in Japan sticker on the back of the head stock.

Is it the fact that is says of California instead of Classics the indicator it is a Kurokumo? The listing showed the ad for the Fillmore but that could have been from the previous owner. Looks like it has some other paperwork as well I will update once it arrives. Funny that there is so little info out there on these.

hey :)

compare the two different headstock designs. The fillmore has a smaller straight headstock then the kurokumo that goes more to mark I with an angled and wider headstock design. the body shaping is a littlebit different, too. The fillmore guitars has a "made in japan" on the bottom of the neck (on the back) and not a sticker on the back of the headstock :)

but dont be worry ..... kurokumo are really great guitars!

thanks for the info. I have heard that the Fillmore and KuroKumo are on par with each other and sounds like the Mark ii that I already have is a kurokumo. the one I have is awesome so no worries there. which head stock is more true to the real mark ii? thanks again for all of the insight!
