New member, in Canberra Oz

Postby SpankyAndy » Tue Oct 01, 2013 10:34 pm

Hi folks,

Pleased to be here. I've got Fenders, Gibsons, Gretsch (MIJ), Ibanez, Epiphone, Warwick etc, but despite a long time lust for a Mosrite or clone thereof, I have never owned one.

Due to the current economy, I'm looking at purchasing a Hallmark Custom 60, in Plum Krazy. I read the recent Guitar Player review online and was smitten instantly.

Cheers

Welcome to the forum, SpankyAndy. You can't go wrong with a Hallmark. Plum Krazy is a very nice color, too ;-)

Thanks very much Sancho and Bob, I really appreciate it.

Bob, I love the look and sound of your guitars. I'm also currently besotted with the Swept Wing Vintage. BTW, did you know Man or Astroman? play the Custom 60 and guitar and bass versions of the Swept Wing?

Howdy, welcome to the forum! Bob is well aware of the Man or Astroman? connection! Snoop around the forum and you will see references and photos of the upcoming Hallmark "Man or Astroman" (mosrite clone) version.

Hey Andy!

Yes we are working on the Man Or Astroman? model as we speak. They will be ready in January and we are very excited as you may suppose. These will come with a special case and some cool accessories to boot.

Yes they use Swept-Wing models too!

Thanks for the heads up just the same,

Bob

Hey SpankyAndy. I'm a 60 Custom owner and it's awesome. I love it. I know you don't know me from a hole in the wall, but I highly recommend a Hallmark guitar. :D

Sorry guys, I am such a newb... <hangs head in shame>. I knew I should have looked around the site a bit more before posting. Bob, thank you very much for your pleasant, tolerant reply - I see a bunch of Hallmark guitars in my future.

Bob,

The MOAM model sounds awesome. Can't wait to see what you come out with. Thanks again.

Andy
