I came across this when buying a Tele. The lady asked me to find out more. There were some mods carried out - Earky 60s patent sticker humbucker in the neck. An extra tone/volume knob as well
The only problem is that there appears to be another guitar with the same serial number.
Can anyone help???

The pictures don't work. You'll need to upload them to an external server (tinypic, photobucket, etc. . .) and post that link.

Thanks Brian.
These are the photos. It appears to be one of the early slab models.

Re: Mosrite Ventures ii BO21
The chick looks like an G1 model and the serial of #B021 sounds really truth to me so the red model who looks more like a later Ventures II model with a higher serial number. We have never seen pictures of the serial number from the red "#B021" except the owner and maybe Bob who has restored it.
As you allready told - The guitar is not stock. The neck humbucker and the third knob was added later. I think the neck pickup wasn't still working and was replaced by the humbucker. The third knob can be another tone or volume knob.
As i allready told im really interested to buy it if it's for sale. I have some guitars like '78 Gibson les paul custom or '76 Fender Stratocaster for trade, too
Best regards,
Phil
