New to group & Finally posting!
Hi All! I'm Eric. I'm a longtime Mosrite fan. From Johnny Ramone to the Ventures I love em' all! I'm the proud owner of a Fillmore Mosrite. Yeah, I know, but it suits my novice needs. I'll be traveling to Japan soon for work related reasons & may consider another purchase. I hope all of you can steer me in the right direction with my questions once I start looking at Mosrite models early next year.

Welcome aboard, Eric - that Fillmore is a beautiful guitar. Fillmores get a bit of a bad rap around here because of their US distributor's strong personality, but some of the ones I've had a chance to play were fine guitars.
Oy vey - it's MESHUGGA BEACH PARTY - The world's premier Jewish Surf Music Band!

What? Couldn't tell the logo is a link? So click here, what's the hold up? http://www.meshuggabeachparty.com

Hey there Eric! Welcome to the forum. That's a really nice Mosrite you got there. I'm sure you'll find this page to have a wealth of information to educate you on your next purchase. Where abouts are you from? Kevin

Welcome to the forum.
That is a beautiful guitar and as far as I know, I've never heard anything bad about Fillmore Mosrites. I think most of us love all Mosrites regardless of manufacture.

Hi Eric, Welcome to the Club! That's one Gorgeous Blue on that Beast.
Is that what they refer to as a Blue Sparkle Finish, or is it a Metal Flake Blue??

I'm in Southeast Virginia USA. Not much surf going on in this town...although Southern Culture on the Skids came thru here last week. Man, That Rick Miller kills when they play "The Wet Spot."

That would be the "Sparkle Blue!" I replaced the tremolo with one off of the Hallmark 60s Custom. The flimsy Fillmore arm was my only gripe about this beauty.

Hey Eric, when you get a chance, fill out your location on your profile. I think there's
one or two Virginians already on the Forum
